Nah he ain't dying. I think they are trying to capture him so that they can understand why Beast titan is attacking them.

I don't think they want to kill somebody like Reiner who is always in his armor form without any serum.
He is way too important for them. They can learn lots of secrets regarding titan history and armor thing from him.
They didnot killed Annie who killed so many guys of there team. What makes u think they are going to kill Reiner? & I m sure Berthold is going to help Reiner in next chapter.

They didn't kill Annie because they couldn't kill her.

i think they got everything to kill annie.
there weapons is destroying reiners aromor/hardening thing.
they could use those weapons to break Annie's crystal thing.
and i think Eren could use his hardening to destroy that crystal.

Still I think hange and his group will get more info from Reiner then Annie.
They can learn things like
What Beast titan wants?
How Reiner can do full body hardening thing without any serum?
Why do they want coordinate do badly?
What is the actual history of AOTverse? Things like that.
That's why I think if they didnot killed Annie then chances are slim that they are going to kill Reiner
