I can't be the only one who was disappointed at how weak Robin was when she joined the Strawhats right? I mean, when she was with Crocodile she looked badass and hella strong, and then she became a SH and suddenly she seemed underwhelming. Honestly, considering that she has a devil fruit, and that it's ability is hella hax and has MASSIVE amounts of potential for development she should be really really strong, and I always figured that Oda kept her down so the big three could remain unchallenged.

During the first part, she was even portrayed as a monster4 in the crew alongside Luffy, Zoro and Sanji. But Oda changed her development

She was made to look pretty strong when she was still an antagonist. Back then she disarmed every straw hat, stole Luffy's hat, put down Pell, Tashigi and Rebecca all while remaining rather humorous and relaxed. But then when she started to switch sides she immediately began to seem a lot weaker.
I mean she easily beat Tashigi once, yet now Tashigi puts up a better fight against Monet then she does. Meh.

Lol thats because she isn't a part of the weak trio. Can hardly call that a monster 4.

In Thriller Bark Franky joined in aswell. Being grouped with those 3 and Robin. The weak trio have always been separated. Although IMO Chopper isn't even weak he just has a weak mindset.

He beat a priest of equal standing with Ohm that arc, which was more impressive than anything Robin did.
