Maybe Mashima is planning to make END as normal demon and Gray go evil for real this time?.

Hmm....isn't it mentioned that their parents are dead due to fire or something?. Acnologia doesn't shown to use fire. Heck we don't even now what is it's element of magic. It seems like not a normal death....smh. So yes there might be something wrong.

That is a big twist but I doubt about it. If you ask me I think Acnologia is somehow related to Gajeel. But Mashima planned few more sibling relations in the manga aside from what we have saw.

I got on NB just to rate this chapter. I give it 10/10

The emotions and backstory and answers was so on point

It had to been hard for natsu to take all of this in. That hes a demon. Im sure it had to hurt him
The book being natsu heart so to speak. It just means that natsu could easily die if zeref destroyed that book. So imagine if gray actually decided to get the book and kill it. LORD!!!!!!


Also. Alot of ppl think its asspull that happy saved zeref. But its way inbound. U know how many times ppl did the wrong thing for love. Happy made a rash decision cause he didnt want to lose the only person hes close with. Also not to mention killing zeref wouldnt stop the attack on ishgar.. =__=

Also luci has alot to do with ALOT of shit. Her mom kinda was doing too much. Lol

Oh man that chapter was awesome! I've been waiting for Zeref to reveal everything to Natsu. Now it's just a matter of seeing how the others are gonna react, assuming that Natsu and Happy tell them. I'm definitely a bit worried that Gray will turn somehow, given some moments from his past, but he always seems to come around in the end so I'm not TOO concerned at the moment.

And what's Layla's story?! I want to know more about her part in this, as well as if Acnologia fits into it anywhere (aside from what we already know).

Well in volume 47 Mashima said that he left some foreshadowings for good. All we can do is just hope. I too want Natsu go evil and Gray stay same. xD That would add a lot to the story in my opinion. I am thinking something bad might happen to Juvia in this war.

This is true! Acno is feared like a god. But maybe because ordinary magic cant kill him.

Natsu flames were power enough to engulf everything around him and they came from someone who's already passed. Similar to how Mard Geers Momento just erased someones existence. It ddnt kill them life and death did not exist in that magic.

It takes special kind of magic to kill an immortal I presume.

OT: Zeref now believes no one will be able to stop him. Natsu blew his only Ace.

Well MS translated it as that Anna is part of a clan. I also find it highly unlikely that Layla opened up a portal by chance, so it's pretty certain she did it on purpose. Considering that the celestial spirit world has a different time flow, it should be possible to send messages to the future via celestial spirits. I just calculated and while 4 centuries have passed in the real world, only between 4-5 years have passed in the Celestial World (I took wide margins). Essentially a spirit could leave the real world with the knowledge about the gate, remain in the Celestial World for 4.5 years and then reappear in the real world where 4 centuries have passed to say that they have to make a connecting gate. This all would work the best if you do it within the same group of people like a clan of Celestial Spirit mages.

Apparently Happy did believe Zeref, enough to cause him to stop Natsu from killing him.

He will probably go tattle to the rest of the guild under the hope that they won't try to kill Zeref, to save Natsu.

Because now that Natsu has failed, they will start searching for another method to kill him.
