The reason why Genbu is not on top 10s is because it is not enough to have high defense, you have to have good offense as well.

And as far as we know, Genbu has no offensive abilities. Too fat to jump, to slow to hit. Enough punches and anything will break.

Barrel roll. The smallest movement is catastrophic to anything that happens to be living in or near it. Plus it seemed more agile and flexible than you may have thought when being attacked by Manda. People underestimate size so much xD

The turtle had almost no offensive capabilitys, it cant do anything to prevent sakura from getting on its back and punching it until it dies. even if it moves a lot, sakura isnt going to be defeated by what is basically and earthquake.

Characters in top 10 positions usually have enough firepower to wipe out the turtle easily. Edo Deidara was able to flip it over with an ordinary explosive, and he's far from top tier. Especially if you consider that Kabuto's edos were weakened.

But, i'll play your game. Why not.
Continuous Bijuudama from Naruto or Bee destroys the turle. PS Swing from Sasuke, Madara or kakashi kills the turtle. Obito or Kaguya could probably punch the turtle to death with chakra arms. Toneri cut the moon in half, a turtle is nothing compared to that. Onoki can carry the turtle around. Deidara flipped the turtle. There's 10 characters who can beat the turtle. It's not even close to top 10 material.

no it doesnt. kaguya puts it in lava. it dies. Obito drops the shinju on it. it dies. toneri slices it in half. naruto blows it up. sasuke blows it up. madara and momokishi havent shown big enough attacks to completely destroy it, but would presumably just blow its head up or something.

the turtle is just an island with flippers. anyone who can break an island, can break the turtle. probably easier, as you only have to blow a bit of it up to kill it, whereas an island has to be completely destroyed.

Seriously like I get it but the amount i've had to remind people in posts about stuff thats in the actual original post is getting annoying

you never actually said those alive today. current top ten lists generally means the ten strongest people we have seen in the manga as of now, not who are alive.


naruto and sasuke blow it up, lee kicked a meteor in half, which would definately kill the turtle if it hit it in the head, ohnoki is still alive so he can just drop it from a great height. gaara can control an insane amount of sand (from madara's meteor), and could crush it. even if it doesnt get crushed to pulp, it wouldnt be able to breath and would eventually die. continuous bijuudama's from Bee would kill it, kabuto was able to defeat the turtle with edo deidara and manda 2, and orochimaru can probably do the same. finally, sakura and tsunade could get on its back and start punching it a couple hundered times until it dies.


Size is not everything something needs to make it top 10. it also needs any ability to attack things, and the turtle cant attack things on its back.

You say current top ten then you mention Hinata, I see a huge contradiction there.

Most of the top 10 can beat it. It's just a huge mass, people with enough firepower can get it done. Like you said Naruto and Sasuke are default.

- Bee and Gaara, quite obvious especially if Gaara has Shukaku.

- Lee can do it by opening 6 or 7 gates and striking it repeatedly.

- Sakura can do it with super strength, destroying large things is exactly the kind of stuff she excels at.
