Minato vs Fugaku?

Fugaku was Minatos elder. Maybe his pride and ego were hurt by such a young man raising up to the ranks of Hokage or maybe he felt the same dissent Danzo felt, that Minatos would be sort of a puppet for Hiruzen and it'll be like Hiruzen was still influencing everything and the Uchiha situation wouldn't change, especially because Minato was so young.

Fugaku died at 48, Minato 24. He died 8 years after Minato so he was at least 16 years older than Minato, he was along with the Sannin.

I can see why Itachi couldn't stand his own father. That Uchiha Pride is too much.

Fugaku doesn't really hate Minato. It's the Konoha Elders that the Uchiha dislike.

If you're talking about a fight between the two, then Minato stomps the featless Fugaku. Though in the long run, Fukagu was more successful (Sasuke and Itachi, nuff said)...
