I don't get it either but he is eating her in the last panel lolYeah it really does look like that. However, i still can't see him being on Eto's elevel with the training he got + memory recovery. So how is that possible i wonder.
There's a panel with kaneki on top of her with her smiling if you look at the bottom you can see his hairFrom what I understood she flees but he really beat her!
Edit: Looks like after she flees Ui finds him eating her kakuja.
Link it?There's a panel with kaneki on top of her with her smiling if you look at the bottom you can see his hair
Yeah it really does look like that. However, i still can't see him being on Eto's level yet even with the training he got + memory recovery. So how is that possible i wonder. ( doing it on purpose maybe?)
Explanation - "hard work beats talent"I don't get it either but he is eating her in the last panel lol
In which panel does she look like fleeing? From what I understood she flees but he really beat her!

I actually can agree with that Eto simply found Kaneki interesting spoilers at the end say she says she liked him not loved hi so in fact she is just the type of person i expected her to beI would like to point out for a second that if Ishida does indeed decide to kill her off for good, then my respect for will reach a complete new point. If you really think about it, doing something like this not only does it take huge guts but also it is very realistic if you ask me and that's why so frightening the possibility of it coming true. We read stories expecting to draw conclusions about the characters based on their actions and personalities, yet in reality, not such chances are given necessarily. Eto is important for us, the readers and therefore for the plot but she's not important for Kaneki. She's the cause of many tragedies, including indirectly his own. He doesn't care about care, he doesn't want to understand her, he just wants to get rid of her. In a sense this comes in direct contradiction to what "tragedy" stands for which is catharsis, however this catharsis only happens in literature, tragedy in real life has nothing do with catharsis. In reality, people die without given any chance to fix their mistakes, anonymously, and we simply don't care for these people because we simply don't know them. That in a sense is the meaning of the true tragedy and this right here is a reminder of what reality looks like.

That would be bad writing indeed and Ishida hasn't shown bad writing so far that's why I believe that Eto made it out of this situation. You mean bad writing?
Kaneki being stronger than Eto is logical, but her getting killed off out of no where like this after 2 chapters? Grade A writing right there.
That's a sweet assumption but I wouldn't take it for granted. From what we've seen so far, Eto went batshit in this chapter so she hardly was in the state to fight skillfully. It's more tied to the fact that hybrids have problems keeping their sanity in check in these kind of situations.Explanation - "hard work beats talent"
Kaneki - trained and is very angry.
Eto - didn't train, but was born powerful.
Tbh, I never thought of Eto as skillful, fighting type of character. She is the type that is very reliant on her power.
While Arima, Kaneki, Shachi are the types of characters that train, develop skills and actually fight.
No I won't call it a bad writing. What I will cal it is taking risk and trying something that will get his readers angry. It's all about the execution. It can become either horrible indeed or under the correct influence something very original yet realistic. He could have simply followed the usual pattern of a stronger rival who is the final boss and things like that. What he does right now can become either exceptional or horrible. I think it will be the first though considering how he had planned everything all along. You mean bad writing?

Meh, hard work beats talent is bullshit anyway. That's a sweet assumption but I wouldn't take it for granted. It's like Arima vs Kaneki all over again.
Not yet, but damn ishida is so unforgiving, I think we just lost eto.The chapter is out.
