People like him because standard "heroes" like naruto are very bland characters and Villains normally have more depth to their characters.

I hated Sasuke for becoming emo after Itachi's death and lost that hebi mindset. He should've become "magneto" after and build an army of shinobi who are victim of theshinobi sytem.

The villains are people who are willing to change the world all by their selves despite everybody else being against them. Gotta have respect for those type of people. Most of all, most real villains in the anime history are more human than most real heroes in the anime history.

A villain is a misunderstood hero; a. hero is a self-righteous villain!

He was a huge jerk throughout plot. Only at the end has he somewhat improved. Yes he is somewhat bad ass when he fights but he's still a ****. Itachi > sasuke.

I think people hate Sasuke, because the fandom doesn't know the difference between cockiness and confidence. He's praised too much, like a god. Sometimes you have to give people a reality check and help them realize "no, sasuke does not solo everyone"

To have confidence in Sasuke being GOAT is to believe so without having to force that belief on others. To be cocky of Sasuke is to over-praise and worship him, expressing your opinions so broadly that it seems like it's forced and pushed onto poeple.
