Didnt Tobirama wonder why there was a clone in there instead of the body of Madara?

I love Kishi's story but this is one of the only things that I find errorlike.

They must have found out that a clone was there.


Tbh it wasnt very smart of Madara to leave a clone behind either.
It would have been better to leave nothing behind, so that people could think that the body was stolen and still believe that he was dead.

A clone that goes poof, would make Tobirama wonder if Madara had actually died.
Dead people cant make clones.

The answer to all of this could be that among the konoha higher ups/hokage, there were a few who knew that Madara was still alive. Including Tobirama who found out.

Who said the clone took damage after Madara made it? Tobirama studied Madara's body, which had a jutsu set that would activate after a certain time. Tobirama locked his body away in isolation, and the jutsu activated, reviving Madara. Madara then left the place it was stored away in and left a clone in case someone came peeking to check on his corpse.

However Madara died at some point when he pulled out the plug from the Gedo.

I find it unlikely but nobody ever looked at the body anymore.
Through time new study techniques appear. Like after Tobirama's hokage time, others could have continued studying the body.
Like during Sarutobi Hiruzen's time.

And how could Madara know how much delay was required on Izanagi?
How could he precisely know the time delay till everyone would stop studying the body?

Madara pulled it out during Obito's time as a child. Tobirama and Hashirama would be long dead, and his body would be long assumed to be decayed. Who goes digging up graves repeatedly anyways? Checking the grave, sure, but digging it up, checking Madara's body, then putting it back, and then doing it again and again? Does this sound like something that makes sense happening?

Why would they need to study his body more? Tobirama probably got all the info they needed, what else did they wanna learn? Not to mention Uchiha were alive up until the massacre, why would they feel the need to do research on JUST Madara's body when Uchiha were probably dying all the time?

Madara was one of the founders of the village, he would know their processes for examinations of corpses, which include the average time all the procedures last. He'd just give himself a long amount of time, like a month or three weeks or something. It was never said Izanagi kicked RIGHT as they were finished with his corpse, for all we know it was a year later or a month later.

Tobimara could study Madara's body first and after, Madara could have resurrected himself with Izanagi.

Also, the scan said Tobimara hidden Madara body to prevent people from discovering it, so who would know where to look if they want to dig it up.
