Sharing a common effect on the masses

Circular in shape with an empty center, and full of heart
At times layered with various shades, each holding a unique role with joy at the start
Harboring a playful soul, as accessories are sprinkled upon it, in times of festivities
Yet created with a deceptive nature, as it contains many a secret utility.
Even when appearing plain, its capable of causing many a stain.
Enchanting abilities, turning humans to hounds
A legend a-rose, from the crowds
A new queen dressed in pink, claimed the treasures, and became the link
Linking the divine and mortal
She had become the portal, to the land of pleasure
The land of the sweet treasure
