So my question today is, Do you believe that Sasuke ever realized Gaara's power in Part I came from a Bijuu?

Throughout the series Sasuke only really ever got glimpses of Naruto's power.

Gaara called himself a monster and sasuke saw shukaku emerge from gaara also considering how loud gamabunta should be given his size sasuke must of heard what he told naruto.

This simply means sasuke while not aware shukaku was a bijuu, he was most likely aware that it and gaara were separate entities and that somehow the beast was inside gaara.

He never put together (on screen) that Tobi's attack was the driving force behind the Uchiha being massacred.

He probably lied.

Or "lied." He did plan to sync Sasuke with the Gedo Mazo, which could be TECHNICALLY giving him the Bijuu, but hoping that he would simply follow through with the Mugen Tsukuyomi plan.

No totally. I just don't know if he thought Gaara had a monster, or actually a Bijuu.

He seemed perfectly willing to view the Kyuubi as just a run of the mill monster until it was explained. Oh well.

Sasuke doesn't know until Tobi-Dara explains since the only hint of the biju was the nine tailed fox in his textbook.

Then there is the fact that he was antisocial since Itachi offed his clan and parents so information only comes from Iruka which was irrelative to the study plan, Kakashi who doesn't teach anything and reads his smutty book all day, his brother who doesn't say anything except that he's lacking hatred in spite of the burning hatred from the betrayal, Gaara, who is monstrously powerful (he encountered Zabuza and Orochimaru who were pretty crazy remember?).

Then there is Naruto who is his rival mysteriously powerful in his own right after he learned rasengan (remember, Sasuke NEVER SAW Naruto vs Haku(brink of death), Naruto vs Orochimaru(unconscious from the seal), Naruto vs Neji (late), Naruto vs Gaara (summons boss toad Sasuke was told that he was going high from Orochimaru's curse seal and possibly hallucinating at time) and until he met Itachi who was after Naruto, who completely wrecks Sasuke and at his strongest at the time, who was very convincing.

So when Sasuke was fighting against Naruto in the valley, only then does he suspects it's the nine tailed fox, and is sure during the second retrieval mission when he looks in Naruto's mind.

Sasuke probably still thinks that Gaara was some psychopath with the sand release bloodline limit (like wind and earth) because Shino was in his class, and suspects that his body is covered with bugs probably 24/7. When he was five and saw Hinata he probably thought the girl with white irises and pupils was blind and thinks the only reason she can see is because of the Byakugan and still does.

It's not farfetched because he has never stepped out of Konoha before or even has the slightest clue about ice release either, so the first time he fought Naruto he thinks it's some weird mutated Inuzaka Bloodline limit he has that lets Naruto keep up with him.

Unless he sees a giant monster and another person saying its a biju, he can suspect but will not point fingers.

I'm sure Sasuke figured it out in part 2. After realizing that Naruto had one inside of him which gave him insane feats, he must of realized where Gaara's feats were coming from as well. Or he just assumed that Gaara was just some weird freak not created by Oro, which sounds weird.

I'm not sure if he knew what/who tailed beasts and jinchuriki were. I'm pretty sure after he saw Gaara transform he knew he was no ordianry human.
