He made it pretty clear he is immortal and well capable of having nearly every Kekkei Genkai there is. With all the experiments and various Kekkei Genkai he had under his nails how strong do you think he is currently? Especially with his new powerful body.

Kabuto tried emulating him and he was strong enough to fight 2 elite Uchiha's, arguably without Izanami the Uchiha's would be screwed.

Also, but don't this too seriously, Mitsuki suggested that Orochimaru was an bigger badass than Naruto and Sasuke in the movie.
