They did talk about doing that, but then Star Wars was announced. They were planning to release it, after missing the first 2015 date, Part 1 December 2015 and Part 2 July 2016. $430 million. We haven't even gotten into the extra money that comes into promo yet, so add another $50-100M. Movie will only be 2 hours in theaters.

I will conceede that they first said it wouldn't fit, because of the supernatural elements, but then they turned around and made Man of Steel very grounded in reality. I've been against Ben as Batman from day one, but I'm giving him a shot though.

Deathstroke's Batman uses a sword and Affleck's Batman also uses a sword/spear in the trailer (You can see both of these highlighted with blue arrows).
Nope that is not a sword

The cover of 'Outsiders' puts a question mark to ask whether this is the real Batman, and the same thing is seen within the trailer (You can see both of these highlighted with red arrows).
The question mark in that issue is after some text meaning it isn't part of the picture...more a hint from the author but the question mark in the movie is part the set or the background or foreground in this scene....or I know he said this but the question mark in trailer could be just teasing IDK maybe one of the biggest batman villains called the riddler...

Affleck's body in the trailer is being shown in the same way that Deathstroke's Batman is shown on the cover of this comic book.
So big and buffy means Deathstroke....cool

In that pic it shows that SS happens after BvS which just isn't true...it has been confirmed that that SS happened before BvS this doesn't make the theory wrong but just a point.....unless he means when they are released than it is true.....
