Yamato could win via restrain. I'm generally more with Kimmi on this matchup, but this time this is a hard location since Yamato has the edge in a forest.

Good shit man, interesting topic for sure.

Okay, to start the topic i'll just make a really short post.

Yamato has showed to use Mokuton not only coming out of his own body, he can use his techniques from tree's around him as well, or from the earth beneath him, and not only that, he can use quick mokuton from his body without hand seals. Why is all this relevant on this battle? If they fight on a forest, Kimimaro should be careful at every single minute watching his back, since from every single tree there could come a strong enough technique to physically restrain 4TK Naruto. Not to mention, he can hide in the forest and use Mokuton bunshin as distractions. I know Kimimaro is too fast and reflexive and can probably dodge any incoming Mokuton, but the difference here is that Gaara could only make visible attacks with his sand, while Yamato can use clones, hide in the trees and attack from every direction, and since Kimimaro is not a sensor, he can fall prey to unseen attacks, while against Gaara he dodged everything he could see, but as soon as Gaara distracted his vision with sand on the sky and attacked from his feet, Kimmimaro was done, so against Yamato it would be the same. Kimimaro can dodge any frontal attack, but he can't sense surprise attacks that come out of his field of vision.

What can Kimimaro do here? Just keep dodging and trying to guess where Yamato is while dealing with his clones and his constant attacks from those trees or the floor? How is he even getting to hurt Yamato if he isn't even going to fight him directly?

To back up my statements i left all the scans below.

So there you have Yamato using Mokuton from out of his body. I didn't feel like looking for the scans of him using mokuton bunshin. We also have there scans of him being able to open the earth, changing the battlefield's shape as he wants to. He can also make a mini forest to conceal himself, i'll post that scan on my next post.

Yamato wouldn't be going to restrain him if the intent is to kill. Like against Kakuzu, he's go for a blunt crushing attack or something of the sort. And I'm just (at this moment) not convinced he can restrain CM2 that was casually walking out of sand burials, which crushed average humans. Or that he'd even be able to catch Kimi.

Yamato struggled subduing P2 Kabuto.

I don't see him defeating a Healthy Kimimaro who slaughted multiple Samurai and aided in pressuring 3T Kakashi and Base Gai during the War Arc.

Yeah I don't see Yamato winning this

Kimimaro wins quite easily. Even if he was close to losing somehow, Bone Forest would give him the victory.

Well that depends on the knowledge. Which i don't see on the first post shamefully.

Anyways, he can restrain > then kill, since he'd never land a killling blow on Kimi without restraining first anyways.

And Naruto is a lot more powerful physycally than Kimimaro, and he got restrained, so i doubt Kimmi can get out.
