Same for me with Metroid Prime 2 it was Horrible Really wanted to see how it ended.

So called final boss had like 4 Forms. Then after you beat it you have to fight Dark Samus and they don't heal you.

Final fantasy on the NES. I beat it but that shit...I'm happy I didn't grow up playing games when they were super hard like that.

Most NES games were hard due to lack of memory making them too short, so the harder the game the longer you played them. I actually found the old Zelda games (1 and 2) to be annoyingly hard compared to A Link to the Past. An honorable mention would be Princess Tomato. That is not some cute kid's game!
