No it can't. A straight person isn't having an affair with someone of the same *** because they're heterosexual, not because they're homophobic. There isn't a single race that by definition isn't attracted to another race. So if your only reason for not dating anyone outside of your race is the fact that they aren't from your race, you deem that entire race to be inferior dating companions simply because they aren't from your race. Like yesterday I wanted Chinese food. A kitchen was right around the corner so I walk over. I walk in and I see no Asian staff, then I walk out.

That's racism. For all I know the cooks could've been born from somewhere else, but lived in China for years. But I immediately judged the legitimacy of the food because off their race. It's a bit racist yes, but not all of, or even the majority of my actions and motives are race based.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all black girls have dark skin (well, some have relatively light skin, but still not lighter than whites), curly hair, etc. Those are all typical characteristics of the same racial group, such characteristics might not be (and apparently aren't) attractive to the OP. That can be attributed to his preference, and it's hardly racist.

If there wasn't any characteristic they all have in common, then why would they be all included in one racial group?

No. There's plenty of us that aren't dark skin and I hardly see many with curly hair.
Also we could be put into the same racial group from our region.

But not all black girls have those characteristics. Even with the skin tone argument, there are some white people who have darker tones (not just talking about tanning either). For him to flat out dismiss even the black girls who don't fit those stereotypes that he isn't attracted to, means he's purely against dating them because of their race. It's not about the characteristics of that race, it's just because it's them. That's what "not dating outside your race" means.
