Does Guy HAVE to go 8 gates every fight he's matched in? There are 7 other gates bro. Even in 8 gate Guy can kill his opponent, even if he dies he has still defeated the opposition meaning he won the fight, sure he died but he still one. The cost was just high.

If we're not basing this off the personalities and character we were shown in the manga then I can make up my own bs parameters as well. Yata works on all attacks it can catch, 8 gate guy would be too quick for yata to get in place, and as Gaara showed us you can attack inside a Susano'o from the underneath, unless it's a PS which Itachi doesn't really have. You can put it anyway you want but now you've detracted from any credibility you had in the discussion. Congrats.

The OP was asking if 8th guy was the strongest apart from So6P characters such as Obito & Madara. The rest, you're just making up as you go along to suit you. I gave a list of characters that can win vs 8th gate.

But IMO Guy wins more than he loses considering all his abilities including the activation of all gates, even if he dies he can still defeat his opponent meaning he wins.

If he dies because of his own technique then he dies but if he defeats his opponent before he dies then he wins, it's actually a simple concept. If he dies before he defeats said opponent he loses. If Guy had went 8 gates he would have been dead a long time ago.

Does Obito have the reflexes to dodge Guy as his speed increases throughout the fight? If not, which I don't think he does, then he loses.

IMO Kakashi loses before 8 gate activation. Kakakshi even admitted to Guy being stronger.

Naruto and Sasuke lose at 7 or 8 gate activation more times then they win
