Kid Sasuke trained day and night to catch up to Itachi are you seriously saying he didn't?

That's the whole reason he was at the top of his academy class cause he trained while Naruto ran around doing nothing and training only when its convenient to him. Atleast as kids this was the case.

Even as adults a singular Naruto didn't have to really train hard due to the fact he has shadow clones.
