While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth. While inside the earth, the user cannot make handseals and can only use Earth techniques below C-Rank. If he tries to do a higher ranked technique, he'll disrupt the Hiding like a mole technique and be left crushed.

This jutsu involves you sending your chakra into the ground you want to dig in, to change the ground into a soft sand that you can easily dig through. Your chakra is what is changing the rock into sand but only in the immediate area you want to dig, allowing you to easily tunnel underground with your hands (like actual digging, like a kid in a sand pit-style) to either take your opponent off guard or to escape etc.
This jutsu also allows you to sense what is happening on the surface while you are tunnelling, in order to locate your target more effectively or better avoid them. However in order for you to sense your target, they actually need to be touching the ground ie. if they are riding on a flying-summon or standing on a tree-branch, you won't be able to detect them.

What are some major concerns when using this jutsu in plain sight of your opponent?

Pretty sure Kakashi used this early on in the series... again my memory is pretty dull. However, once you have used Hiding Like a Mole Technique, you will approach your target from beneath and grab their ankles, pulling them into the ground up to their neck, thus trapping them. You them emerge from the ground and do whatever you want to them while they are helplessly trapped in the ground.

So for both of these, well I'm sure you know how I want your replies by now... and answer the question I posed for the Hiding Like a Mole Technique.

after listen to his sensei explanation shikamaru ready to perform the tech.

he focuses his chakra to his feet then channel it to the ground turning the ground into sand. he then start digging the sand and move underground. after he reach under his sensei clone he then emerged under the clone. he didn't emerged completely the only thing can be see emerged is his hand. using his hand he grab the clone feet and pulling the clone underground leaving only the clone head emerged. he then emerged from the ground completely then proceed by taking a kunai then throw it to the clone head making it disperse.

"advantage of this tech is it doesn't require handseal and can be use to surprise attack the enemy. disadvantage of this tech is it would be dangerous if the enemy can sense the user underground because it can be Dodge and countered easily.

in battle this tech can be used to Dodge tech that are aimed at the user by submerged underground this tech can also be use as a surprise attack if the user block the enemy vision before use it.

about the question. if the enemy see the user going underground the enemy can easily use lightning tech to channel electricity into the ground to electrolytes the user and probably cause instant death."

"hurm... for this tech I need to send my chakra to the ground on the specific spot and form a few pillar or spike. I can use this to form under spike under my opponent to kill them or I can form a pillar under me to send myself flying to evade an attack. this tech can even pass through obstacle if I just a little dense. I can also perform this tech on all earth surface even on other earth tech of mine or my opponent.

advantage of this tech is it can be use quickly because it doesnt require handseal and can cause a good damage if it hit the enemy body. disadvantage of this tech is could be difficult to use if the user cant see the target.

This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock and dislodge any vulnerable or sensitive spots, causing the structure to collapse. This can be especially useful if in a cave or a stone lodging. The technique can loosen the rocks and cause them to come raining down on whomever is trapped inside. The damage depends on the size of the cavern or rock lodging above or nearby the target and not on the amount of chakra used which doesn't need to be high. A large cave with a thick ceiling can easily do the physical damage equivalent to an A-Rank technique but due to the damage not being focused or chakra fueled, its also easily defendable.

So new approach to things... tell me what your chakra is doing to make this jutsu happen? Where it is going, are you using shape manipulation etc. Then give me the usual analysis like how you have for previous replies.
This is a pretty handy jutsu but it does require the appropriate terrain as it states in the description. However being under a sharp cliff face or even if your opponent is on the edge of an overhanging cliff this would also work to some greater or lesser extent.

Really only useful if the previous jutsu has been used first or if there is a mud source (made from other mud/earth jutsu only) around but then can also be combined with a C-rank fireball jutsu to create a pseudo-lava jutsu... as the description mentions. Reply the same way you have for the previous two jutsu.

Are you using shape or elemental manipulation to create new earth, how is the chakra removing this stone, do you need to do anything else with your chakra to cause the entire collapse?

For example, if I where to create a wall of fire (An actual c-rank fire jutsu but I'm not going to post it... cause it's not really needed for my point) I could answer as follows:

I focus my chakra into the ground in front of me to cause a wall of fire to erupt form the ground.
Now, while that is basically the jutsu and a paraphrased version of the jutsu description itself, I want you to go through the thought process of what your chakra is doing behind the scenes.​

Now, I could also answer as follows:

Focusing my fire chakra I release it into the ground through my feet (for some context, this jutsu doesn't require you to slam your hand on the ground or anything), sending the fire natured chakra to a concentrated point one meter in front of me. I think manipulate the chakra so that it forms a line from right-to-left before using elemental manipulation to turn the chakra into flames and adding an extra burst of fire chakra to cause it to erupt into a wall of flame.
I could also go into detail about how wide and how tall the wall is, but you get the point... hopefully? O__O'​

Okay, you did better with this one... we can get super technical about how you alter the structure of the earth and blah blah but you did enough there.

However you answered my question but didn't provide a reasoning for your answer? So let's try a different question; if you wanted to make a river of mud flow towards your target and they are standing uphill from you, say five meters about you, do you think the river will flow towards them or back towards you instead? If you'd rather, throw a bucket of water against a steep driveway (throw it uphill) and either watch or imagine (not saying you have to try this) where the water flows.

yeah its a little confusing but if you gonna reply like once a week its ok to drop many jutsu but yeah it will be confusing a litte

You can do one or the other, it's a versatile jutsu that way. Also the amount of jutsu I will vary from reply to reply as I have no real set standard. xD

shikamaru start by performing Rat > Horse > Dog Snake after that he focuses his chakra around his opponent in circular manner then he apply nature manipulation to push the ground up around his opponent he also apply shape manipulation to form the pushing up ground into a pillar trapping his opponent inside it.

''maybe I should combine nature and shape manipulation then continue with how the ground move and form?

in battle it would be usefull because it can restrict or trap my opponent movement and I also could to rise infront of me to defend from an attack. disadvantage is the jutsu is C-rank so it can be destroy easily with a weak lightning tech.
for counter like I said it could easily be destroy with lightning tech so I would ise lightning tech to destroy the pillar''
