The moon itself I'd say

No idea.

No idea.

Electromagnetism.

Other stars.

Nothing.

The other planets are not discs.

No idea.

A solid rock emitting light? How?

Electromagnetism? shouldn't other stars also be flat discs like the sun? How would they help especially given this theory almost completely disregards gravity

Why aren't the other planets not discs? Why only earth? What is so special about its formation?

There are too many gaps, this theory can't hold any more weight than the current view.

I completely agree. I was simply offering you their ideas.

If the Earth is flat, then you can't go from California to Australia meaning you'd have to travel to the Eastern Time, to Europe, to Africa, the Middle East and so forth.

If the Sun circles around the flat earth, how come i can't see it during the night? The sun clearly goes below the horizon, the only way that could happen on a flat earth is if it dropped below the disk.

Alright, I'll bite into this conversation. Lets then assume that the Earth IS flat. That we have been lied to by every social and educational system in our Western Civilization. If you live near the sea my challenge to you then is to see any and every boat/ship off the shore and carefully observe what happens to them as they go further and further away from sea shore and beaches. Another neat thing using the beach is during Sun set. As the sun is off the horizon halfway when you can see only half of the sun, stand where you are, and simply lay down and see if your perspective of the sun changes. Since you're already at Sea Level (being at the beach) its not the same as being on top of the Empire State Building, or Sears Tower, seeing the sunset, then quickly go down the the ground floor to see it again a second time. Carefully observe such a thing. It's pretty cool, actually.
Or..
if you are in a land lock area: find the most flat out non-plateau area you can travel to (because who needs to fall off a cliff? no bueno). Take one other person with you. Each have a measuring tool to measure accurately the distance, and a Watch for telling of time. Sun screen, plenty of water, a map of the region, communication device, and food are optional. Now, with a possible GPS system and the required equipment, have your partner simply walk away from you until you can't see them anymore. Then discover the distance apart from the point of being next to each other to the point where you could no longer see them, where they just "disappear." Early morning is more advisable because of the cooler weather, and time with natural sunlight when you start.

A flat Earth makes it impossible to for them to "disappear," without falling off the Earth, as they travel further and further away from you. And be prepared that it may take 22miles (or 35.4 km if that's what you're use to) for such a "disappearance" from happening. Nevertheless, I challenge you to do this experiment.

My point is: We don't need NASA or US gov't telling us if the Earth is flat or not, or whether they're lying to us in some grand conspiracy theory. Not when, in this case, we have some practical, relatively super cheap, experiments we can do to test out the scientific theory. Best of luck! Have fun discovering and learning. I didn't write all of this to patronize you but rather to equip you for better understanding, and to see it for yourself. That in this regard, it is not some giant conspiracy theory.

Peace! and best of luck!!!

Good answer.

if earth was flat which is bullshit ... it would be day for everyone and night for everyone on other side of the so called flat ... or if the sun is horizontal to the flat line it would be day for everyone ... how the **** can you believe such a thing ....

Oh my God... Read it and weep folks. We've been living a lie our entire lives. The earth is actually flat! :hint:

Guess you never heard of coriolis force, or of the westerlies or trade winds as they used to be called, a wind system that would be impossible on a flat earth.
Edit: oh and just FYI, the idea that the earth isn't flat was actually picked up 2,200 years ago by ptlomey, by comparing the shadows cast by the sun at 2 different locations separated by 800 km at noon on the same day(June 21st). Same time, same day, identical poles cast in the ground at different locations one pole doesn't cast a shadow the other does. There, the earth isn't flat, proven.

You sound like someone who didn't read the 200 proofs as they already disproved these things.

I think shitting on one proof should be fun enough: the horizon always appears 'flat'. The very fact that there is what appears to be a horizon is proof that the earth is curved, not flat, since standing at the coast, you should be able to see from one coast to the nextbeyond on a clear day, there should be no point at which the sea and sky ever appear to meet, because beyond the sea there is land, in the direction of your observation. The very fact that at large distances far away objects at sea are not visible is proof the earth is curved. Basically gtfo lol.
