I can't see 2 Hirudora killing Hachibi so Asa Kujaku's damage over time would be a better option (even though it's weaker than Amaterasu). If Hachibi spins while he's already on fire then he lights up the entire location in addition to Gai before he himself dies.

I don't see Asa Kujaku doing a damn thing. Gai needs to exploit his major speed and size differential advantage, and aim at Bee's most vulnerable spots. So shooting Bee in the face with Hirudora, blinding him, and removing his tails would be a much better strategy.

I don't see Asa Kujaku doing a damn thing. Gai needs to exploit his major speed and size differential advantage, and aim at Bee's most vulnerable spots. So shooting Bee in the face with Hirudora, blinding him, and removing his tails would be a much better strategy.

I'm not sure what's leading you to believe Hachibi can survive that, especially when he can use that technique a few times plus the fact that the Hachibi's massive body means almost all of the flames are hitting. Asa Kujaku lighting him on fire would just make him scream the entire time like Amaterasu did. He's not doing anything in that state in the first place. I agree that removing his tails could take priority, although I could also say a 7th Gate enhanced Asa Kujaku would generate enough force and heat to end this in my personal opinion.

Cutting off the tail will still leave any exit for Bee on fire. Plus, that's a huge amount of chakra that Bee would lose. He can't use another BM as far as I am concerned, he'd need to gather chakra before he can do that.

Who says he can't rip his own tail off?
No substantial evidence for the bold. He went BM against Nagato then went BM against Obito's paths. The amount of time wasn't really that much.

Asa Kujaku should be nowhere near as hot as Amaterasu, reason why Gai can withstand his fists being ablazed by it with no damage. Also, we have no idea how long the flames would even last on the surface of his skin (Kisame was immediately knocked into the lake).

So I see no reason to believe Asa Kujaku being even somewhat comparable to the unextinguishable and extremely hot Amaterasu flames, and dishing out that much damage to Bee - who withstood his own TBB without dying. And didn't Hachibi mode tank Roshi's lava release? Either way, worst case scenario Bee counters it the same way he countered Amaterasu.

I've seen it being explained that Bee can do that Octopus pot trick on his own. Ask Draegod or something. Though, I agree that it's at the cost of a whole lot of chakra, which I don't ever see people exploiting.
