Were are you all getting Itachi has a low chakra reserve from ?

It was stated countless times in the manga that the Uchiha Clan had Strong chakra most likely do to Indra there Ancestor being Hagoromo son, Some of you may say that you can't generalize all uchiha to having strong chakra that's true but what really caught my attention is Hinata? Hinata used her Byakugan her stated That there's a area surround with a very strong chakra (Amaterasu) Itachi's technique , The Byakugan ability lets you see the quantity of chakra someone has as were neji was able to compare Kisame & Naruto in earlier shipuden.

People will say things like Itachi only used Amaterasu & Tsukuyomi and was already out of chakra but that's false Itachi used Many technique's and tactics that was over looked.

1. Used a summoning crow justu

I'm not saying Itachi has the best Chakra reserve but it's surely not as bad as people were setting it out to be, the key proof to that is a Byakugan users stating that his technique surround the area had a powerful chakra that's the ability of a Byakugan good insight and details on areas,surround,chakra network, & chakra it self despite the man dieing from a disease .

Doesn't matter really but saying he has low reserves makes him look better so I'm sticking to he has low reserves

By the way, you missed his forming of V3 Susano'o to protect him from Kirin.

Strong chakra=/=large chakra reserves.

And chakra comes from stamina, low stamina=low chakra reserves as explained by ebisu's diagram

Basically stamina molded to form chakra, if itachi has low stamina he has low chakra this is true whether people choose to believe it or not.

Powerful chakra=/=lots of chakra.

Also, Itachi didn't use Amaterasu five times. He used it once, used it again which set fire to the trees because they spread based on his line of sight, and then used Kagutsuchi on Sasuke. Yata Mirror also wouldn't consume chakra as it is a spiritual weapon he holds with Susano'o, not a jutsu.

Summoning a Crow Clone and summoning a crow aren't that impressive either, especially the latter being something Kid Naruto could do with his chakra disturbed by Orochimaru's seal on top of Minato's.

Itachi is not weak...
He has lots of chakra but compared to top tiers his chakra isn't big becuase EMS>MS...
I agree that he doesn't have a low chakra level...
Itachi has more chakra than Tsunade i think.

It is not that he has low chakra he has low stamina reserves which is why he can't fight in prolong battle ... And which is why kisame was always worried about him when using sharigan cuz it's taxing (look at kakashi who also while he has higher stamina then itachi it's still taxing for him tho he has lower chakra reserves then itachi)

Itachi is rated at a 3/5 in Stamina in the databook. While databooks are hardly a great measure of a Shinobi's abilities, a *low* ranking is usually fairly indicative. Sometimes such rankings can be misleading (i.e., a 3/5 in "intelligence" is somewhat subjective, as intelligence can be measured a variety of ways). However, stamina is a pretty straightforward.

Itachi has powerful chakra due to being an Uchiha, and can therefore use very potent techniques. However, his low stamina makes it so that he can't use many techniques in a short period of time, and can only use them for a limited time. He also can't use very "large-scale" techniques. Something like a large summoning, or a large fireball technique, would take a lot out of Itachi.

It's unfortunate that we only saw Itachi go "all-out" once, and it was near the end of his life due to illness. However, even then, Itachi did not use "large scale" techniques other than Susano'o. Itachi was noticeably fatigued after just one Tsukuyomi, was on the verge of collapsing after using Amaterasu, and died shortly after forming a complete Susano'o. Other than these techniques, all he used were a few clones and a basic fireball jutsu.

nope as confirmed in databook even Iruka has better Stamina (chakra)

As uchiha he have chakra quality and as genjutsu user he has perfect chakra control thats all.

His reserves are pathetic.

Nice thread with good evidence. Surely, Itachi doesn't have low chakra reserves, but not the best also. But powerful chakra =/= large reserves of chakra.

Itachi can't use Kagutsuchi just like Sasuke can't use Tsukuyomi
