…was a shit father. I don't usually talk about him because Its generally accepted that he's a badass above decent character & he's my 3rd favorite, however I have noticed a fault in his parenting.

*Note: for the most part this thread is based of memory because its late at night & I do not feel like rereading & finding scans.

Many may ask "how could Minato do a shit job when he wasn't there majority of the time?"
The answer is He left Naruto an orphan
Then they likely will retort "What do you mean? Minato had no choice in that, he was cornered & did the best he could manage from quick thinking."
This is where I explain Minato had atleast 2 other choices, 1 of which would leave Naruto with 1 parent at the minimal.

First off: Minato could've resealed Kurama into Kushina thus both parents would live, able to successfully raise their son, infact this option was informed to him by Kushina. Although I believe she thought she would still die and Kurama with her.(might be wrong)

Secondly: He could've sealed the entirety of Kurama into himself without leaving half for Naruto. Granted Kurama is a keystone source of power for Naruto now but before that he was hated by the entire village. He grew up resented over a factor uncontrollable on his part.

Minato believed in Jiraiya's hero of Konoha vision. He knew it would be Naruto so he sealed Kurama into him knowing that in the end it would benefit him and his future. The part about him not sealing kurama into Kushina is a bit weird, but that doesn't make him a bad father at all.

Seeing someone you can relate to is one of the best inspirations to have. I am sure he saw his father as someone like him. That is why he thrived to get so strong.
