What do you think temari and karui would do?

Let's say that Gaara/Darui grows the balls to steal a bowl of ramen from Naruto and make him declare war against the sand/cloud village, which side do you think they'll be on?

In a legit scenario where the Leaf went to war with either the Sand or the Cloud, I'm pretty sure that, as Leaf Village residents and part of Leaf Village clans by marriage, their obligations would lie with the Leaf, and not their home villages, and they would know this. I imagine, though, that Naruto would allow them the choice to not fight.

I don't imagine either of them would actually defect, but I'd sooner expect for Temari to defect than for Karui to. At the same time, I'd also sooner expect for Naruto and Gaara/Darui to work out their b!tch-fit over a bowl of ramen diplomatically, before taking up arms, as is the point of the Shinobi Union, meaning no war, yaaaaay.
