Considering the way she unlocked her Sharingan, I think she's okay

She had a little moment during Gaiden. When she talked about leaving the village and going it alone, when she thought Sakura wasn't her mother and her father didn't care about her.

Doubtful every character affected by the "curse" had an outside influence, like Orochimaru, Itachi, Obito, Madara, or BZ. So unless someone is going to drive her towards insane choices she should be safe.

The only person I want to see affected by the curse of hatred is Mitsuki because I want him to be a spy for Orochimaru!!! That'd be an interesting storyline. Sarada is supposed to parallel Naruto so since she's in the light she definitely won't turn evil. Boruto logically then would be the person who turns evil because he'll be working in the shadows but he has way too much love from his family. So that leaves Mitsuki to be the evil person.

....Or, Kishimoto can continue to write Team Konohamaru as substantially coherent, without the need for one of the main cast to turn "evil" -- They could, in the future, add villains to the series who are actually likable and worth our damn time.

I'm tired of team members chasing team members because they turned the other side. Jiraiya went through it, Naruto went through it, and I definitely don't want to see the next generation go through it. This plot line usually makes character shitty unless they give up logically like Jiraiya at some time. Given that Sasuke wasn't as evil as Orochimaru, still didn't bring out the best in writing for the series especially for Naruto.

I would cringe if it turned out Mitsuki was a potential evil character, along with Orochimaru still being evil. We need fresh new ideas, not overused one's from a character who got one shot by Itachi..

Well Mitsuki doesn't have to have a whole series revolve around him like Naruto did with Sasuke. He could just have a small arc where he has to struggle internally about whether to be good like his friends or bad like his father. He needs development either way so that'd be a good way to make his character more interesting. That and we'd also get some closure about Orochimaru. I still don't fully trust him.

But yeah I agree. It'd be more interesting to see a plotline that doesn't revolve around one character. Instead maybe they could work as a team for once and actually get along.

You know I don't think that Mitsuki is that bad, honestly. I mean sure out of Sarada/Boruto, he still lacks unique character traits that make him less of a clone of Sai. He still retains a healthy relationship with his team members (where he rushed to their safety and tried to provide emotional support). We have seen a few things that namely make him a bit of a jokster, although definitely not on Naruto's scale.

The reason why I don't think Kishimoto would ever do an arc with Mitsuki where he internally struggles with his father's past is because;

He would of picked at the chance of doing it with an early Sarada with Itachi (and her Father's backstory)
He would of picked at the chance of Naruto telling Boruto/Himawari about Kurama, and his parents (and the villains who were responsible).

I think what Mitsuki needs is namely a goal. He's kind of just back there. Sarada wants to become the Hokage, Boruto wants to follow his own path, and then Mitsuki just wants you to respect his parent :)lol). That's my problem with him currently. He's more like a comic relief in the Movie, but still does it way better than Chou Chou. I feel like if the series continue, he'd definitely be a bad-ass. I mean he's Orochimaru's son, but dresses and looks better. His character design alone intrigued fan's for the entire Gaiden.

---

Correct. Which is why the Akatsuki was such a good thing for the series. It captivated us, and made things interesting. The problem with a Naruto continuation is that the plot is kind of dry:

Do you continue with the Otsutsuki plot where everyone bar Naruto and Sasuke are irrelevant?
Or do you create a plot that demands less of Naruto and Sasuke, but does something more for the next generation (while the main characters from the past work behind the scenes).

That's my issue with a continuation. I want it, but I'm afraid of it at the same time. What threat is powerful enough to disrupt peace? No one bar Kaguya. What threat is written well enough to start a new series for the next generation, but isn't serious enough to call for Naruto/Sasuke to beat their ass immediately? See the problem?

Any threat that Kishimoto decides to make in the future would just seem stupid reading wise if Naruto/Sasuke could just one shot him/her from the get go. This is why many fan's disliked the Gaiden, because outside of Sarada's character, it was just a giant waste of time. It could of ended in one chapter and then focused on other things.

1. No. Sasuke has already terminated it.

2. No. The reason is answer 1.
