Again im not comparing them. I'm simply pointing out the flaw in your argument.

You're saying astugai would displace the mist, thus ruining the genjutsu.
I shown you something displacing mist yet doing nothing to the genjutsu.

The size/density is irrelevant, given that all explosions cause shockwave propagation and as a result air displacement.

The size/density is totally relevant given that the stronger the explosion, the larger the shockwave would be.

Its not. Air displacement happens on all scales. The explosions moved the mist but did nothing to the genjutsu.

Its been made extremely clear in multiple cases that the only way to undo a field wide tech like that is to kill/ stop the user:

Here are examples:
Zabuza vs kakashi(on all 3 occasions) field wide tech:hidden mist
Mei vs Sasuke Field wide tech:poison mist( note despite sasuke breaking out of the side room concentration of the mist didn't go down. She herself had to lower its concentration despite laws of physics automatically demanding it going down naturally do to the volume increase(the meeting room being open again)

Madara vs edo kages field wide tech: sleep spore: Madara lit the plants on fire which literally eats oxygen but they were still effected by the pollen

I think Kakuzu stomps. Fire+Wind combo can one shot honestly because of its AOE and Gengetsu's water body won't save him. The heat would evaporate the clam's mist and reveal the location of the clam, which Kakuzu destroys with Raiton: Gian. Joki Boy can possibly be tanked with Domu (earth>water, and sand mother tanked that explosion despite it being pierced by magatamas easily.) Or Raiton would make it pop like a bubble. If he uses Zukkoku, JB will heat up faster and explode prematurely.

The larger the explosion the larger the shockwave. If the shockwave only took up a fraction of the mist it wouldnt displace the rest of it.

You're not getting the point. The explosion being small doesn't change the fact that it should displace the mist. But it didn't .

Thus there is no proof that a larger explosion will yield different results.

Mhm, so:

- Just a couple of streams of Kakuzu's linear techniques is enough to dispel a mist that is emitted omnidirectionally; a mist that covers the length of an entire battlefield and can be produced constantly, if needed, by an entity capable of moving.
- Mizukage is apparently so slow and uninterested that he just can't be bothered or do anything to react to Kakuzu's vast attack and movement speed given all the great feats the latter has. Neither can Jouki Boi.
- I guess being able to dispel the clam's mirages is an automatic win against the Mizukage, because, you know, he just stands around idly during the genjutsu without any tactic or notion of mind to try and, I don't know, win?

Or nawh!

Still waiting on proof that any of kakazu's attacks will effect the mist.

The mist would logically refill that area due to the pressure change. The explosion would barely have an effect on the mist unless it was much larger then the one that happened in canon. Atsugai is absolutely huge, it's illogical to say the mist won't be moved when Atsugai engulfs the entire area. And anyways, the Clam would go flying along with the mist itself. Nothing puts it at the level of durability required to survive Atsugai.

Given the huge aoe of Kakuzu's attacks, and the area of effect shown by the clam in the manga, a couple of fuuton shots in a circular pathway would kill the clam.

Onoki killed it with a weighted rock fist literally point blank touching it.

:lol when you know the hate is real.

-Kakuzu's fuuton's sized is vastly underestimated. Kakuzu can sit in Domu while his hearts erradicate the mist and the clam in one blow (fuuton is ending the clam wheter it blows away the mist or not)
-Beans said it well that the heat from any of Kakuzu's katons would cause joki boy to explode anyways and its explosive feats are far from extreme. (As well as Kakuzu having the elemental advantage)
-After the mist is cleared with the fuuton and the trollkage is still wondering what to do, he's struck by Gian if he himself wasn't already scattered by the fuuton.

Never understood why this guy was so OP.
