The majority of world fan population says Yes to Boruto and Himawari Uzumaki. Boruto has more potential over Sarada. Uzumaki name is fear,respected,trusted and loved by the majority of the World. After Boruto's development in the movie I think he's a sweetheart.
So long as he doesn't threaten her rise to the hokage seat it's all love.

I'm disappointed that Sarada's fighting style is Sakura 2.0, but I like her personality, sense of duty and purpose, and clear leadership position (Konohamaru aside) on the team.

Likable? Well, Sarada edges out. Boruto is a pretty good character also, no doubt.

Sarada. Honestly the only reason I've seen for why people don't like her is because of her powers. That's it. Or that they don't like her mother. Sarada was wonderful in the Boruto movie. She was assertive, smart, friendly and capable. She got all the good traits of her parents and none of the bad. While with Boruto I had some real issues with his personality. I think Sarada is better than her parents but I like Naruto sooo much more than Boruto. Boruto was a real brat in gaiden and the majority of the Boruto movie although he is a lot better by the end of it. I don't hate him as much as I used to. Honestly after watching the movie I do think he is a well-rounded character. His development was spot on. But Sarada hands down is more likable.
