First can you see my location it says republika srpska so I am Serb and can only tell you what Serbs think about this

First of all our media are neutral so we have great insight when it comes to Syria

My country support Russian intervention and we know about Us fake efforts to stop Isil
As I said my media are neutral so they only publish confirmed and true news

On purpose or not but Us bombing always somehow have civilian victims while I havent heard anything similar in Russian case also your media lies are only making things worse

About Russia plans I really don't know but UK and Israel lying about possible land intervention of russian militia Putin and other clearly said they wont send land forces to fight

Now its still unknown what happened with Russian airplane but if Isil is really responsible I won't be surprised if they go mad and send army to erase them from in existence.

As far as I know Russia will stay in Syria until they clear main Isil forces . after that they will leave syrian army to deal with remains of Isil which wont be threat at that moment

No I didn't look at your location. Since you have Putin on your profile I thought you were from Russia. It's kind of like me having a profile of Obama but I live in Brasil lol.

Simply saying your media is neutral doesn't really guarantee much. I will most definitely acknowledge that the american media isn't trustworthy and that's why I use BBC and Al Jazeera as my sources.

As for civilian casualties, Assad's forces have indiscriminately killed civilians for years now. Despite Syria doing this Russia is still backing them and is now helping them gain more opportunities to do so. Wouldn't that still be considered bad?

As for ground troops, Russia has two major bases in Syria.
- One is the airbase in Latakia:
- And the other is the Tartus Naval Base:

With these two bases at his disposal, Putin might say they Russia isn't staging troops while doing the same thing he did to Ukraine, which is actually invading but telling the UN he isn't.

I don't think the US or Russia should be involved in this fight but it's interesting to talk about the tough questions so don't take this as me singling you out

same shit all over again....overtaking an Evil Monarch who is tormenting the poor.....US plays this same story to get into whatever country they want, make the ppl revolt against the current leader and then boom, here comes Big brother US to solve ur problems and once he is done lvling ur homeland, he would take over all resources and leave behind a new puppet leader that obeys his every command.

funny how ppl know this, yet they can't do anything about it. Its like the Saudi Arabia situation,"U gotta pay us so we can save you from (us)" lol Plain old protection money scheme taken right from Mobster 101

No doubt about that. It's modernized commercial colonization. The US, Russia, and China are all playing that same game.

Yeah dude the U.S. has a horrible habit of stepping on others. Our government and corporate interests systematically take advantage of our citizens all the time. As for arming everyone, that is indeed a major issue. We armed the Al Queda in the 80's, we gave weapons to the Iraqi military but those weapons were taken by ISIS, and now we gave weapons to the Syrian rebels which also got into the hands of ISIS lol.

Haha how much you guys wanna bet the NSA is reading this thread and doing background checks on us right now?

Russia is straightforward protecting its interests in Syria. Russia and Iran will destroy ISIS or anyone opposing the government. Rest have shady confusing interests. US is bombing ISIS yet sucks dicks of its sunni allies who are supporting them. US training Kurds but turkey is bombing them. US should stop its middle eastern allies stop supporting terrorists and either cooperate or convince Russia with whatever they were saying of Assad should go because he is evil.

Neither actually. Both are there for their own interests nobody cares for millions dying and uprooted there.

West has a long long past of supporting dictators and terrorists In Middle East. They put some people in charge, arm them, if they want an involvement/change in region they demonize the people they supported not so long ago. It is a vicious cycle actually, in order to get rid of current oppressors people need to rely on new rebels, which will turn into future oppressors.

It is not hard to see this classical pattern. I don't eat this basic "whoahah YPG are good guys fighting ISIS" saying which there for clueless outsiders making their mental rebellion satisfaction. Both groups are pawns created and supported by same outer source to play their game. West (and Israel) wants another puppet nation easy to control. It won't be sunshine and bunnies when/if they build a nation state. Few days ago i saw an Ezidi complaining on net that they are getting oppressed under Kurds and they want their own autonomous region but getting negative responses. I am not even getting into other minorities like Turkmens, Arabs, Assyrians etc. which never got to mentioned. (Nation state after nation state is not a reliable solution, odd that how West is meshing up while East is splitting up)

Russia is aware of everything obviously. They want to preserve their ally, huge part of the tension is another cold war. Instead of remaining unconflicted they direct their heat somewhere beyond them.

In short i know Syria is f-ed up regardless, its lines are drawn by Westerns to begin with but further involvement will only create cheap plastic solutions meant to be broken and harm further.

Just watched this interview with Bernie Sanders talking about the middle east. It's pretty interesting.

He's pretty much saying that:
- Saudi Arabia (4th largest military in the world), and other countries should be involved; Not just the US. Countries in the region should especially be taking the lead.
- One problem he sees is that everyone sits around and waits for the US to sacrifice for them.
- The US shouldn't send troops.
- The US should arm he Kurds and stop supplying the Syrian rebels.

In your opinion, what should be done about the situation in Syria? Just because Western powers have a history of setting up regimes in the region doesn't mean they are purely motivated by their own interests, take the Gulf war.

I think that it's obvious a terror group like ISIS is something that needs to be taken down. If major world powers do nothing to stop it, then it will continue to grow as Syrian forces don't have the military capability to take them down, nor are they united against them.

US did have interest in Gulf War and they intervene and control for their interests about all the time.

Major World powers created ISIS to begin with, some ISIS soldiers are forced into join them. ISIS would die along with its supplies, if the support gets cut off and imperial powers be honest about what are they doing for a century then step back unless they actually aid.
But that won't happen and it does not mean someone should take side. Afterall it is not up to me, good thing i do not have to decide anything so i can say the truth as much as i can see.

That makes sense. I think ever since Palestine got occupied with the European Jews, shit went downhill. What do you think about Britain?
