Madara and Sasuke fan conflict.

As an Uchiha fan since '12, I'm not too keen on putting a Uchiha up against another Uchiha because of the conflict it usually causes.
But that thought aside, why is that Sasuke fans legitimately believe that he can beat Rikudou Madara?

If it were Rinnegan Madara I would understand because both have their Uchiha powers along with the rinnegan powers (rikudou chakra). So that seems very reasonable to compare the two, especially when Sasuke's answer to madara's mokuton is his blaze release.

But against Juubi Jinchuuriki Madara? That seems very unrealistic that someone with only half the power of Madara would be able to beat him, especially when that same person is hosting the most powerful creature in the NV. The juubi alone created a tailed beast bomb that was easily the biggest justu/blast seen in the whole series. So Madara+Juubi seems like something Hagogomroo and his brother would have to handle.

Now before you bring up the one time Sasuke hit Rikudou Madara:

So it's nothing really to hype about, considering that a couple of the characters that got him are significantly weaker than Sasuke.
And the ironic part about it all is that he comes back stronger:

So is there actually a legitimate reason why people think Sasuke can beat Rikudou Madara?

I'm a fan of both these characters so there's no bashing.

If Sasuke could beat Rikudo Madara, then there would be no reason for Naruto to be there. Sasuke needs Naruto to defeat him, that's kind of the entire point of the arc.

I think when they put him up against madara its adult sasuke which looked faster, stronger, and just better in general. Also the only feat that 2 eyed madara showed besides getting turned into kaguya was a bunch of meteors which sasuke dodged and cut up effortlessly.

And when sasuke perfomerd indra's arrow the kyuubi said that was on hago's level. Now adult sasuke has had time to master his rinnegan and can dimension travel as well. their reasoning for sasuke besting madara does make some sense if you actually think about but everyone is entitled to their own opinion

Before anyone says "Sasuke can throw him into another dimension so GG" Madara uses Limbo switch/ substitution before he gets thrown and he can do that an unlimited times considering Limbos goes back to the original Madara before a period of time while Sasuke can't, he would get drained after using it 3 times, he's not that stupid.

2 Rinnegan JJ Madara sure can beat Adult Sasuke but its not that easy. PIS aside he have advantage. Sasuke dimensional travel is useless here bcus its not work like Yomotsu hirasaka or Amenominaka. Why JJ Madara need to follow Sasuke into other dimension and if he know Sasuke will sacrifice large amount of his chakra just to travel, let Sasuke come to him, even Sasuke knew open up a portal will not help him in battle, it just consume his chakra and will effect his reserve for battle use. And BFR not mean you superior to JJ Madara.

And what left now for Sasuke is Amenotejikara and without both seal, its futile. Madara can and will outlast Sasuke chakra reserve before he kill the Indra successor.

Madara has more feats. He survived Night Guy and a Lava Rasenshuriken to his abdomen. Also wasnt fazed by Sasukes attack. He is way stronger than Sasuke and he cannot die. Juubi Jins cannot die. Also Sasuke cannot really combat Limbo effectively unless he can summon clones to oneshot each clone with chidori blade but madara is too skilled to be one shotted by anyone. But Zetsu lol. Ironic
