Not really. Itachi didn't find a blindspot, he just blinded the summons.

Kidomaru could attack from every angle like a sniper against Neji, Itachi's shuriken kunai can't replicate that feat.

People with Sharingan have really good vision maybe? And Shades can still be see through to a certain extent and with a Uchiha's vision.

Not really. Itachi didn't find a blindspot, he just blinded the summons.

Kidomaru could attack from every angle like a sniper against Neji, Itachi's shuriken kunai can't replicate that feat.

He did find a blind spot, or how would you go trough blinding the summons without finding a blind spot to make attack actually go trough.

But, I do give you the Kidomaru response. You are right in the fact that he wouldn't be able to replicate that feat.

I don't know why am I on Itachi's side, I guess Im being a little bit of a fanboy because I he is pretty much my favorite character lol.
But, I've always tought that Byakugan > 3T Sharingan.

Fire Style is countered by either Air Palm or Rotation.
Genjutsu is a non-factor.
And shurikens are easily blocked, even easier with Rotation.
The only thing Itachi has is his exploding clones, but that wouldn't be enough.

the reason the logic of byakugan bypassing a visual genjutsu medium is sound, is because the sharingan & itachis finger are both ''weaving signs'' or manipulating chakra. their visual cue is a ''slight of hand''(kishis art immitating real life, in vague magic concept) over the normal visual spectrum.

it doesn't even matter whether the hyuuga closes his eyelids or not, once the white eye is ''activated'', it is no longer operating on the normal visual plane. it bypasses the hidden mechanism, just like a deaf person bypasses sound genjutsu/kabuto hakugeki, even though the vibrations still hit them.

byakugan doesn't just have ''greatest'' insight, it -transcends- the entire concept.

But How can Sasuke make eye contact with Black shades right there on Bee's eyes.
So if someone can make visual contact with Sharingan/MS despite wearing shades or closing his eyes he will still get caught in Genjutsu

Hiashi would logically win seeing how the Byakugan counters Genjutsu, which Itachi relies a lot on, terribly. Factor in his Bijuu sized air palms and the lack of Susano and Hiashi should win this.

U can still see someones eyes through their shades. You can't see someone's eyes through their eyelids.

Look at the vs kabuto match. Even at the end when izanami was in effect he still had to pull his lids up for tsukuyomi.
