How do you think Naruto would be if he didn't have Kurama?

When people read a thread like this, they instantly tie Naruto(in this "what if " state) with actual /original story line and stated "Naruto will lost badly"etc. But they forgot that "what if" will change original story "plot" also

Naruto being Kyubi' s jin had nothing to do with him going on the Land of Waves mission
Then with the Chuunin exams, Orochimaru was there for Sasuke, not Naruto, on top of that Kyubi actually saved Naruto from getting killed by Orochimaru. Both Sasuke and Naruto would be dead then, IF they even make it past the Land of Waves in which Kyubi saved both of them, unless Minato has time to train Naruto in evasive maneuvers and standard tactics.

I think Naruto would have been drastically different.
He wouldn't have driven himself to learn shadow clones because
he'd have no reason to, as he'd had already learned the basic
[weak] clones in the academy. Thus never being driven to steal
the scroll and learn of a more advanced clone.

Ultimately the best his parents have to offer are FTG, sealing techs, nature infinity
rasengan, taijustu and chakra chains. Though chakra chains seem OP af considering Kushina
had gotten sealed into Naruto while on the verge of death, yet was still capable
of holding down 50% Kurama with the little chakra she was working with.

Naruto was also the worst of the academy, thus why he got tied with the best Sasuke,
assuming he doesn't get tied with the best- he doesn't get Kakashi as a teacher meaning
no Haku and no Zabuza. -aka a dead Sasuke vs Haku, because his partner would
forcibly have to be someone else with a low ranking such as Naruto, minus a beast
to save the day.

Assuming Sasuke's storyline is still the same with dead Uchiha bodies lying around.

Actually I believe Naruto would still be paired with Sasuke, because all the other teams had specialties"

Tracking Squad ( Hinata, Shino, Kiba)
Close Quarter Combat specialist Squad (Neji, Lee, 1010)

You're the reason or one of the reason I post all that. You still tried to used "Original story" plot here and not "newly /differently craft" story plot that only author can execute it bcus he knew better than us.

Whole story need to be change to fit this "what if" Naruto and not just part of it.

Sasuke mainly trained by himself as his father was busy training Itachi and Itachi was always busy with missions. (Sasuke was even amazed that his father took 5 minutes of his day to train with him.) Also, the manga never said or showed that Naruto's education was neglected and even his homeroom teacher (Iruka) had a special connection to him.

Beyond that, Naruto was under the protection of Hiruzen so no one would openly admit hatred to him or do something such as neglecting his education. Naruto was in the academy as everyone else, he was being trained like everyone else, only the fact that he had no skill for it. We even see Naruto and Sasuke practicing during the early days of the academy. (They couldn't have been more than 5-6 years old at the time.) Furthermore, Naruto practiced almost counstantly by himself and was later trained by the famed Kakashi Hatake.

His education was anything but neglected, if anything he gained very special, no beyond special education.

Better than any kage & Sasuke without dojutsu anyway. That's for sure. Whooper arsenal from the family members mentioned + shadow clone training from much earlier (his dad would tell him) gives him hundreds of times the exp & jutsu.

I would like someone to come up with Sasuke without sharingan. Naruto without Kyuubi seems very interesting. People now a days say Naruto is average without
Kyuubi. I will admit I highly disagree. He would be far more interesting due to him having the Uzumaki lineage. His current version right now is more jinjurki than Uzumaki. If he was taught by his mother to learn few sealing techs he would be a very powerful shonobi right now.

Naruto the Jinjurki is god level. Naruto the Uzumaki would be a very fine versitle kage level shonobi.

Not sure about Kage-level, but definitely a formidable shinobi. His whole life would be very different without Kurama, so it's hard to say how his personality would have been affected.

And if by chance his parents were still around, Kushina would have knocked him into next week if he didn't work hard, so it's safe to say he'd still be pretty powerful.

He could be a Boruto type who never learned to work hard. But knowing his mother he would be taught to work hard. The only thing we can do is go by potiential. By potiential Naruto would be up there as a shonobi. I agree that attitude is what counts but even without that he would be assured a top level seat. Kushina is a organized mother, so she will make sure her child goes no less than the top.

Btw I don't expect Minato to spend much time with Naruto.

No Mind awakening pill to boost his base ability/Curse Mark 2

Angst to the Max due to not feeling that he is catching up to Itachi
