Reporter's review/summary:
While Sasuke is on a journey, the ninjas in the hidden cloud and hidden mist country were missing, so Konoha send Sasuke (who specializes in genjutsu) to go and investigate this matter.
The main plot is divided into two parts, one part is on Sasuke’s side, the other is on Konoha’s (Naruto and Sakura’s) side.
Sasuke meets a girl who he believes to be more experienced and older than him, said girl looks like a 10 year old and calls him Sasuke-chan, (This girl is also the last boss apparently)
While investigating the missing ninjas, Sasuke meets some younger generation who looks forward to him (And gets owned by the sauce) and realizes the case is related to a criminal group called the“AnRai group”.
Meanwhile at the same time back in Konoha, it is attacked by the same group of people, the missing ninjas were injected with one kind of chakra with specific properties, which turn them into explosives, Naruto , Sakura and Hinata tries their best to save these exploding ninjas. (Naruto gives his all + goes all the way to pass Kakashi this news, while Sakura’s priority is to get rid of the exploninja’s unusual chakra, Hinata’s role is to use her byakugan to help Sakura spot and confirm the correct placement of the explosive.)
Finally they drew a conclusion, the people who use this kind of chakra, also have a kekkei genkai just like Sasuke etc.
To find this special kekkei genkai, Sasuke goes to find Orochimaru, this moment he meets Taka (The Taka’s existence is basically moe, Karin, Suigetsu and Juugo kept asking Sasuke why doesn’t he return to the village, the point is their interactions are pretty cute)
Orochimaru brings Sasuke along and found the origin of the kekkei genkai, Sasuke finds out that the kekkei genkai that driven the Blood Pool clan’s to a corner was in fact the uchiha clan (Since both clans specializes in genjutsu, to protect the peace in hot water country they hire the uchiha clan to crusade against the blood pool clan)

During this time, the girl (Chino) who keeps calling Sasuke “Sasuke-chan” appears, her past is basically her experiencing a hellish childhood, she now believes that there is no one she could love, so she chose the same path that Sasuke went through, which is revenge. Facing this kind of girl, Sasuke is reminded of the past Naruto, so he decided to save her.
In the middle of their battle, Sasuke reveals his inner thoughts TnJs to the girl, before the last hit, the girl is saved by her companion, Sasuke then stops. This moment the girl then realizes the answer from her true feelings gets TnJed and chose to accept punishment from the countries.
Since this is Sasuke’s story so mostly the story is slightly narrated from Sasuke’s perspective, the first half of the story explains the conclusions step by step so the story is pretty solid.
Then until the second half of the story, the battle moments reveals most of Sasuke’s thoughts, the main thing is two characters, one is Itachi, and the other is Naruto.
There are many small scenes of inner thoughts worth reading. It’s rare to see Sasuke so honest and frank, maybe it’s because the boss Chino and Naruto gave off the same vibe that Sasuke is so straightforward with himself [<<< this is the reporter’s opinion]
And then there’s Itachi, in the middle of the ******* Sasuke’s feelings towards Itachi seems to be hiding some sort of affection, there are a lot of times where Sasuke would first think of Itachi’s stance then he would decide what to do next.
Other times it would be Naruto, if I say Itachi’s the guide, then Naruto would be the push, he also would kept thinking of the things Naruto has done for him to help save Chino. <Blablabla basically ****ing TnJ, need I say more >, the enemy would then give up on the thought of revenge.
Reporter’s notes
*The scene that gave her/him the most impression is SaiIno, this part is so sweet!
*After battle Sasuke leaves, Naruto follows Kakashi to Hot Water country to pass on the punishment on Chino, Chino immediately recognizes Naruto as “the friend who shares the same pain as him”, word by Sasuke, so she thanks Naruto for saving Sasuke for saving her <????>, after Naruto hears this he went dumbfounded for a while, and forgot what he was supposed to say, but he reveals a smile and telling Chino:”Of course!”. This smile seems like the light that shines over the darkness. (Oh, Naruto is the light that saved Sasuke, while Sasuke used that said light to pass it onto Chino, it can be said like that)
*At the end of the *******, Sasuke continues his journey and receives Kakashi’s letter, and saw there is an extra letter with crappy writing, the first thing he noticed is that the letter is obviously written by Naruto. What Naruto wrote in the letter is Sakura having something to tell him. The main content though is to tell Sasuke to go back to Konoha’s police force. This moment Sasuke then thinks of his childhood past where Itachi talks about his dream. (This is the scene where things are so warm! Aside from the conversation between Naruto and Chino, here is the only part where Sasuke smiles to himself in the whole story [;;;;;;reporter cries about Itachi]
*After reading the whole *******, it felt like the reporter just finished a movie, he/she thinks the story is not bad. Even though he/she doesn’t know where all those pairing stuff comes from, or maybe he/she didn’t really read carefully the *******. After all it’s a formulaic fiction , so the character’s thoughts were more or less written, but the important part is still the important part! Whatever that is important would still depend on the reader!
*Last but not least, a lot of people asks him/her whether this ******* is good or not, did it grasp the important topics, as an NS fan, the reporter thinks this book is worth buying, especially regarding the character Sasuke’s many inner thoughts (Talks about Naruto, talks about Itachi, talks about Konoha, of course there is also mentions of Sakura, though when it comes to feelings <regarding Sakura>, this side of Sasuke is not dealed with/explained much, besides the story itself didn’t quite focus on Konoha so the reporter thinks it is acceptable)

The way I see it the reporter speed read the novel so it is possible he/she missed some details.
The Summary is rather short but I pretty much got the gist of the whole picture.
Seems to lack reports about Shin/Kaguya unfortunately, I guess the reporter didn't plan to mention them, idk
Translating this whole thing is tiring I actually thought of giving summaries if there are chapter by chapter trans but yeah, no thanks anymore
Btw sorry for the mess with the brackets. Too many brackets from the reporter. I also had to add my own brackets because I had to

After Sakura healed and sent off Kirigakure and Kumogakure shinobi, Naruto came to see her. He tells her about the story he had heard from Chino earlier. (What Chino said is in HK spoilers I think).

However, the fact that he isn't by her side was painful for her. She cant be kept waiting forever (or she cant just simply wait forever).

Naruto: "Eventhough Sasuke isnt here, hes protecting the village."
Sakura: "Yeah. There arent many shinobi who can be like him" (or no shinobi like him)
