Madara used the black rods when he was alive. He wouldn't of put Hashirama on his knees if he wasn't able to use the rods. Even old Madara used black rods.

Sorry but this is a stupid thread. Rinnegan was never the reason he could use Mokuton. He has Hashirama's DNA thus can use Mokuton. It isn't like the memories of the jutsu he copied are stored in his eyes.

Who said that rinnegan is the reason that he can use mokuton?

And there are lots of people that has hashirama's dna, but that doesn't mean they can use wood dragon or emergency forest.

madara can use susanoo without his eyes because of his mastery over his powers. no one else can do this but him.

Of course, he can use Mokuton. Why couldn't he when he already did it in the war previously as an Edo? He is the same Madara, just alive. Plus, the Hashirama face carved on his chest is manifest proof that he has Hashirama's power.
