I recenty made a thread asking if the i7 4790 is a good processor so now

I am finished.. i build my pc from scratch

You must be registered for see images


- asrock h97m pro4
- 8gb corsair vengeance
- intel i7 4790 3.6 up to 4.0 turbo
- 1tb toshiba hard disk
- Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212
- Evga 600w power supply

All i need is a gfx card..

gonna try and get the gtx 980 ti :D

I plan to use SSD later on for my operating system.. but for now i will use the 1tb...

why a cheaper gpu tho? lol
If you were on a budget then buying a cheaper gpu would be to make margin for a SSD. What is your resolution ?
SSD is exactly what I wanted to suggest to. It is simply amazing, a SSD works miracles. Aside of that it seems to be very solid to me. I am not too good with building computers though.

You should get a 120GB SSD for the OS and other stuff plus that GTX 980Ti. If you don't have enough money. I'd suggest to save more money and buy those. You'll notice big difference.

Yeah, thats what i plan to do.. im going to save and put my os on my ssd and everything else on hdd..

im not going for less than 980 ti because when im done i dont want to have system requirement issues for a very long time lol

Exactly so don't rush anything! 980Ti is a powerhouse.
