Do you guys think "rape" is part of human nature? Other male primates rape female primates all the time. The male primates that do the raping are the ones who do not possess the physical features that attract females. Much like humans.
For example, the male peacock has that large and colorful tail to attract mates. While other males do not possess physical traits to attract the female. You can ignore the text in the image I couldn't find an image of both genders together.

There are two strategies in the wild: Sit and Wait, Sneak and Rape.
Is rape universal?
I know some rapist do it for pleasure or have some kind of issue.
Strictly speaking, Rape is no more or less natural than lasting, supportive partnerships.
The Red Queen Hypothesis is a concept proposed to explain evolutionary processes of antagonistic relationships. At the core of the supposition is that genetics are a sort of "greedy algorithm" that seek merely the means with which to successfully propagate one's self in the most expedient and effective manner. At the core of this is the realization that species do not evolve as a whole, but as a consequence of the attempts of individual DNA strands to reproduce. Things such as complex organisms, the morphological divergences of the sexes, etc is all essentially a vehicular extension of the DNA's attempts at replication.
For example - the duck has a corkscrew penis and vagina. This is completely ridiculous from the standard evolutionary model, where such complexity should be devolved from the system in favor of simple reproduction that comes at less risk and energy expenditure to both. Similarly, our brain size is ridiculous from an evolutionary standpoint. Nearly 1/3 of our calorie consumption goes to our brains - and it only really began to pay dividends after traversing an inexplicable gulf of cranial capacity that -should- have been devolved due to the increased burden with little real survival benefit.
The answer to both of these lay in a sort of sexual antagonism. Biologically, we all want to spread copies/versions of ourselves far and wide - particularly males, who are producing a steady stream of gametes to seed the world with. Realistically, we need another person to make that happen - specifically one of the opposite ***.
Logically, there are two basic ways to go about this:
To lure.
To foist.
While I do believe in a genuine emotion of Love that is beyond simple chemical attraction - the reality of relationships is that they develop out of an alignment of mutual self-interest. Women are looking for a partner who is going to provide for them and knock them up with a healthy kid. Men are looking for a woman to support him and remain faithful to him so he can knock her up. There are other needs to a relationship - but the bottom line is that for a relationship to work, both must be providing for each others' needs - and both men and women try to lure each other into a relationship in order to satisfy those needs.
The other reality is that you can just hold a woman down and knock her up - then move on to the next. In theory, this can be done against men, but it is not quite as common because women, fundamentally, have less to gain from said strategy. That is not to say that women are incapable of sexual abuse or anything of the like - just that a woman who rapes a man can't become pregnant multiple times and must still deal with the increased resource demand a child creates for her.
Both strategies will plausibly result in children, and there is a sort of continuum. One-night-stands may not necessarily be rape, but they are not necessarily an appeal to the long-term needs of either partner. The male has more to gain in the game of reproduction in a one-night stand than the female does.
So... is rape "natural?"
It is a logical consequence of the reality of reproduction. It is also the logical consequence of a desire to experience dominance over another person - to take what one wants.
It does not, however, result in better health for the mother or the child. It should, therefor, not be the goal of any responsible individual to propagate a child through the act of rape. Nor should it ever be the ethical decision of someone to engage in the act of raping another.
There is a reason why, even amid a world where rape is a possible means, we have evolved the concept of love and virtually every society known has recognized the individual pairing of a man and woman in a role of mutual support ("marriage").
