In the movie sasuke said he see something in boruto that might surpass naruto with his training and after the disappearing resengan and him knowing lightning and wind release just make me think if he had someone to train him like he said he would of probably been better then vote1. It was even said he was a wiz super smart just need some moves but enough i want to hear what yall think??

It's absolutely 100% not debateable, buddy. Unless he gets more asspull handouts than anyone else in the series. He ain't surpassing Naruto or Sauce.

He couldn't possibly have seen something in Bolt that was greater than a Hago power-up

I don't think what Sasuke meant was in just power alone, but in ideals. The conversation went like this:

Looking at the conversation, it directly does imply power/strength due to Sasuke stating Boruto was really strong, and that he lost to Naruto. But he can become a man who surpasses him. Though looking at the wording, while it might hint at power, I think it directly correlates with ideals. Because VoTe2 had more to do with the clash of ideals, rather than the clash of power.

But I'm not really sure what to make out of it either... Logically he doesn't have the power to surpass a Tailed Beast from what we know. Though he does have Genius, maybe if he'd get FTG or something he'd be capable of withstanding a Bijuu attack ... but that's at best. I hope Kishimoto doesn't ass pull him.

Cause that would make Boruto (in the future) have the Gohan fate.
