Sasuke was: Because i want to kill itachi

Gaara was: Because a sorta ambiguous uncle died (I can't be the only one who though that was a girl, right?)
Most of the akatsuki were: Because i want too. Itachi wasn't evil.
Indra was: Because i'm butthurt
Ashura was: Because i'm also butthurt
Kaguya was: ME WANT CHAKRA
Toneri was: I unthinkingly obey a clearly insane order to commit genocide.
Hagoromo was: I Don't Like Ninjutsu, so i'll kill everyone with Ninjutsu
