It doesn't matter what they believe because legally they're male and their fathers reason for protesting was so they wouldn't be victims of physical/sexual assault or straight up killed.

Getting sent to an all male jail is its punishment, the alternative he's asking for should be revoked.

Going to any jail is the punishment. Going to a female prison is still going to prison, so the punishment wouldn't be revoked.

It is also to protect the other female prisoners. :| If that man does anything to the female prisoners during his incarceration then it is the court's fault.

God, this thread is a cluster****. She/he isn't avoiding jail. She (let's go with this) is being sent to prison. Women also commit battery and assault and are sent to jail for it. The problem lies in the fact that male prisons are already a haven for rapists. They target men of slight built or gang up on them and subject them to sexual assault. She would be a much easier target because of her surgery and appearence alteration. The judge is basically offering her on a gold platter here.

If they cannot send her to a female prison, then at the very least shift her to a safer, separate cell. This has been done before where the prisoner was at a greater risk of assault from the inmates. So, I don't know why the judge is being so hard-headed here, especially given the state of her physical alterations. It just boggles my mind.

P.s: I can easily tell that's a dude wearing makeup in the first pic. He/she has a very butch face. The second pic is right-in-the-middle kind of a thing for me. People on nb have odd tastes, it appears.
