KingHashirama once made a theory that the Senju was actually a gathering of many clans under one banner. Once Konoha was founded and peace was established, the Senju clan's sub-clans divided again and became separate clans. As such, The Senju Clan lost it's identity.

Dude, you're still thinking about this in a bloodline-wise way. She is married to a Uchiha and has a Uchiha child, that makes her part of a Uchiha family. Even if the Uchiha clan were alive, she would still be part of the Uchiha clan. I'm not saying that she is Uchiha by bloodline, anyone knows that, but she is an Uchiha by legal union.

She is a part of the Uchiha clan and has the Uchiha name. Women change their last name when they marry and their origional last name becomes their maden name. That's how it works.
