I was talking with a friend, and he was like shisui should be the strongest coz he can control your mind blah blah, I was like, the rinnegan counters visual genjutsu, then he said, KA doesn't require eye contact (which is true) , I didn't know how to counter that, all he needs to do is look at you (no eye contact) , so anyone has an idea of how rinnegan/juubi jins/rikudou sage mode users counter kotoamatshkami, I will like to know, please no trolling bout danzou owning shisui

OT: I can't think of any counter apart from IT and it depends who can cast it first, the one under the genjutsu won't even realise he lost but apart from that anyone that can blitz him before he can react and process the attack is the only way to defeat him. So no, I don't see any counter if you're already in the Genjutsu.

The trick to KA is not knowing that you're in genjutsu. That's what makes it seemingly unbreakable. But anyone who can break regular Sharingan Genjutsu can break KA only if he knows he's in genjutsu (which is what KA conceals in addition to mind control). Danzo probably knew about genjutsu launch, so he took precautions and was unaffected by KA.

You can't counter it. Once it hits, it's done. You can "avoid" it though. Also, Rinnegan users are immune to Genjutsu, so anyone with a Rinnegan would be able to handle it because the technique would fail

Remember how Danzo was controlling Mifune (Samurai Guy) in the 5 Kage Council meeting? Danzo had his eye wrapped in bandages, and Mifune was still being possessed.

KA doesn't need direct eye contact, and when u get hit by it neither you nor the bijuu within u will know u r under genjutsu :| you can't fight a problem you don't know exists. Even with understanding of all things.

OT: Seeing how Sasuke's eyes can protect him from KA I don't think visual genjutsu works on him anymore
