Should Naruto have been a show about REAL ninjas doing REAL ninja stuff?

Nah. Kishi made his own world which was vastly more engaging and interesting than a life of secrecy and solitude.

Just go play Ninja Gaiden or something. Maybe somebody will try the ninja thing with a more traditional tone someday but until then, I never felt the word 'ninja' was that integral to the series. It's just a word to use lots of Japanese mythology and ideas.

2). Shin's eyes on his head (on the back) reacted to Sasuke's Fire Attack from the back though. He could have easily seen Sakura, but she was too fast for him to react in time. :flakez:

4). Was it Chiyo's fist or Sakura's? Did Chiyo's have the destructive power to destroy Sasori's puppet?

OT, Narutoverse is incorporating Ninja aspects in Natural manner

In real life myth, ninja applying ninjutsu by using a tools to create smoke, fire, camouflage, etc but in NV they are using spiritual energy thus the tech is more natural and not artificial.
