Naruto Part 1 or Naruto Shippuden?

Which do you like better: Naruto Part 1 or Naruto Shippuden and please tell me why!!

Naruto part 1 is superior in literally every possible way and it is not even close.

Even the best fight of part 1 still outdoes the best fight in part 2. We've had numerous threads on the 'best fight in the series' and Lee VS Gaara gets a ton of mentions. Plus, better story and all.

Part 1. Better character development, more mystery to the ninja world, and most importantly more artistic and storyline consistency.

IMO part 2 would have beat part 1 if it wasn't for the war arc on.

that's a hard one, but id go with shippeden just because I like it because the fights are better, but just like dragonball I think the original naruto was essential for part 2 naruto

It depends on the arc. Some arcs in Shippuuden were better than most of p1, some were much worse. Personally my favorite part of the whole plot was everything concerning Akatsuki up to Pain's downfall.

Part 1 without hesitation. Shippuden got disgusting after a while, and it never had the "Oh my god, I love this series!" feel that part 1 had.
