No he had stronger techniques. You are arguing that PS would've been stronger technique, but why wouldn't he have used it trying to fight Naruto and Sasuke? Furthermore, Limbo haven't been shown using jutsu. It's already been shown something happens to the brain when you connect to the Juubi. Who's to say it didn't affect susanoo. Juubi chakra also isn't more potent than Indra's chakra, which is what he and Sasuke have. Juubi just has more chakra. Lastly, why would he nearly die to Lava RS if he had any form of Susanoo?

As an Edo he had rinnegan and used PS which would be the equivalent of sasuke using his PS with his rinnegan. They both have rikudo chakra too.

The problem was as an Edo he was still restricted and still couldn't use limbo.

Maybe limbos would've had PS of madara did too? But forget that.

Imagine if he would've used Ps when he first woke. I think madara with both rinnegan but not the jubi is equal to rinnegan sasuke as both have rinnegan and rikudo chakra but no tailed beast.

So if his Susanno dwarfed a meteor that dwarfed the Cts that dwarfed sasuke Ps than I bet alive with rinnegan it would've been even bigger.
