This guy basically hog up the last chapter (before timeskip) and had the final monologue. Naruto did close to nothing and needed Sasuke's help to dispel the Infinite Tsukuyomi. In the end, Sasuke still got the main girl. Naruto barely had any closure as a character.

Naruto Gaiden = Sarada or Uchiha Family Gaiden.

The Day Naruto Became Hokage = Himawari = Comic relief.

Naruto is still superior. And wealth and land still matters. They are as much tools to their village as shinobi are, even the previous kages argued for this. Not to mention the responsibilities given to Naruto are greater than Sasuke's. A prospering village is a powerful one. You see how during the tech boom a new shinobi device was created.
