True but this guy Kylo Ren has been rumored to be a obsessive fan of Darth Vader for some unknown and odd reason. Maybe Kylo Ren is a Skywalker himself? I hope he doesn't get killed off in this movie tbh he's the main reason why I'm hooked this far.

I mean, if we're being honest, they kind of did when they shut down Lucasarts, made the EU noncanon and cancelled the Clone Wars series for a subpar kiddie show. Though, I'm trying to have high hopes for the movie .-.

Kylo Ren himself isn't the most interesting thing to me (still interesting nevertheless) but there's is apparently an order called the Knights of Ren. THAT has my attention.

Not entirely. The EU being deemed noncanon should be meaningless, it's not like all the now noncanon material is gone. If someone wishes to think for themselves that Grand Admiral Thrawn, Palpatine's resurrection, the Yuuzhan Vong, etc. did happen in the verse, there's nothing to stop them. It's just that now there are two versions of what happened after Vader and Palpatine's death, which I'm totally fine with.
Cancelling the CW in favor of Rebels was an awful decision, but CW was almost out anyway. Season 6 is on Netflix and there's a comic that, if I remember correctly, wrapped up Darth Maul's story and Palpatine's plans for him. It itself is kinda lame but the concept is great. It's called Son of Dathomir if anyone's interested.

Ever trailer Disney has done looks like crap this doesn't even have the feel like it's Star Wars it loos like it but I'm not feeling it like I felt it with all the past movies

Already the voice lines in the trailers are dull cheesy and no feeling in it compared to the past movies

I want this movie to do good but I'm not seeing it this is why some of us didn't want Disney doing this movie they are just not up to it

And God forbid anyone shouts how this movie will beat the others
So far best scene would be Han and chewey

Vader was the primary villian focus of the original trilogy. It wasn't until the EU was written to make sidious more of a big deal that the focus shifted on him. But the main emphasis was originally more so on vader than sidious. And, he'll always be the most iconic star wars figure..


Trailer didn't excet me so Much.. i don't like how they are going way off the rails with the plot line.. i think the EU canon already constructed is already good enough to stand on it's own.

But i suppose the movie looks like it will be quite entertaining anyway so i'll be seeing it asap.
