I mean toneri gain tsm just by taking hanabi's byakugan verus nardo who is the king of borrowed power. Momo and kin seemingly couldn't produce chakra naturally yet they still gave naruto and sasuke a hard time.

Toneri's entire clan sacrificed their eyes and he still needed Hanabi's eyes for tenseigan.

Kin and Momo were literally chakra fruit thieves and ate/absorbed their relatives for power. From the moment he appears, Momo is absorbing jutsu.

Toneri took a little girls eyes in order to get OP Tenseigan and Tenseigan Chakra Mode.

Momoshiki eats chakra pills and turned Kinshiki into a chakra pill in order to amp his own power, several times during Boruto.


They borrow powers like other characters in the NV, too.

Notice how I said "without using much". Momo not having chakra naturally is his biggest downfall. Still sasuke negs.
