Katsuyu is there and it increases Sakura's offense and defence massively.
Kakashi's Only chance to counter regeneration is use Raikiri or its variants to cut sakura's head off which she can dodge[as she dodged kaguya's chakra arms] and doing so will also put kakashi vulnerable to her punch.
If Kakashi uses his hounds katsuyu can split and counter them and its acid can kill them.Where sakura can regenrate from wounds kakashi can't :lol

Slugs are mostly water, pretty sure Raikiri contains a hell of alot of dense raiton/electricity/lightening (Whatever you want to call it) if it comes into contact with Katsuyu it could have a similar reaction to lightening interacting with water.

I'm not seeing why he himself wouldn't be able to step on Katsuyu though.
