From RSM to Kyuubi Mode to RSM again?

I'm pretty sure we can all agree that Naruto is using RSM in the boruto movie and gaiden, but before that he could only use Kyuubi chakra mode during the last, which was two years after his fight with Sasuke.

How it exactly did he go from having Kyuubi mode to regaining his RSM by the time he became hokage?

He didn't lose RSM in the Last. I don't remember exactly if he was using RSM with Kyuubi mode or just Kyuubi
mode. If the latter, it's simply because it was unnecessary. It might be the former though, as RSM does not
provide a cloak and is visible through examination of the eyes, so he might've used it and you simply didn't realize.
Not sure if he did though.

I'm pretty sure it is BM mode look at his cheeks whisper things I don't know how to call it. But after that take a look at KCM and BM. Also if this was RSM naruto he would have been way less stronger vote 2 rsm. So it just is BM

RSM is distinguished from his standard SM by his eyes and their lack of orange pigmentation. Naruto used RSM in gaiden and Boruto along with Kurama's Chakra.

Its debatable wether he used it in the last but most signs says yes. You can't really fight an otsutsuki without Rikudou power, Naruto was touching his gudodama, flying,etc. I too believe the animators screwed up in the last with his SM/RSM.

No he isn't, TBH. That was RSM judging from Naruto flying and all. And KCM can't be that OP to take on Toneri so effortlessly. It being RSM is a far more sensible assumption.

I was claiming MS Obito actually, but if memory serves correct (which idk if it does) didn't Toneri cut it but not with his own actual power? But all those byakugans and shit? Toneri needed hanabis eyes to be even close to Naruto

No matter how much anime movies are made closely to the plot of the main story, it will always be a Non Canon thing.

Animators have to sum up the story of the movie within 1:45:00 in which they have to introduce the villain,making a plot and bla bla.Its so hard to make a villain as strong as RSM Naruto with full powers so they have to just degrade naruto in order to show us a competitive match.

Canonically naruto has RSM with all bijuus chakra.anyone who thinks opposite of it should have to admit in the hospital for the mental therapy

Nah toneri did that before hanabi's eyes were removed from him. Meaning that was his tenseigan power.
