As soon as Kiba saw his opponent throw Shurikens/Kunais, he quickly responds by countering them with Shurikens/Kunais of his own, while at the same time focusing his Earth chakra for necessary offense/defense.
All of a sudden, Kiba's opponent jumped in the air and started performing handseals, as soon as Kiba saw the hand seals being performed, he quickly made a sharp pillar with the Earth chakra that he focused earlier rise and charge towards his opponent to interrupt his hand seals formation.

As soon as Kiba did that, he quickly dropped a smoke bomb between him and his opponent to limit his opponent's vision and quickly threw 4 Kunais at his opponent while he was in the air through the smoke, who he managed to locate with his Inuzuka smelling sense, 2 Kunais were aimed at his chest, and 2 towards his legs.
