Itachi Gaiden?

I heard Masashi Kishimoto has been working on a Itachi Gaiden, and I think it's a really good idea! I mean Itachi's childhood and his life in general has been a bit of a mystery! We assume stuff from the things we've seen and known so far, but there must be more to Itachi :itachi: then just someone who was a top student, who seemed to be too into missions etc. Trying to be a great ninja? Because of all of this we don't see his actual personality, and this chronicle could show some exciting things!

MK:Yeah,well,i decided to change some stuff in the last chapters so as the battle between Naruto and pain will be fair
at the time i've decided that Naruto won't come back to konoha while pain is there ,and i choosed to give to tsunade the "honor" to give the first punch to Yahiko . but in our weekly reunion i've been convinced to make naruto return and in order to make the battle fair I cancelled the punch because as you know tsunade's punch is too hard ... and made all the pain in their perfect form to begin the battle from 0

P:So naruto is coming back ?

MK:Yep.

P:Is the amaterasu , given by itachi to sasuke the only legendary jutsu?

MK:It's a secret .. but I can tell you that the tsukiyome is starting showing up

P: Who is stronger ? Naruto or sasuke ?

MK:hhh.. well that's a hard question . the world now is dividing in 2 groups Naruto and sasuke .any answer would ruin my life (hhh..)
now you saw how sasuke is strong but you haven't seen anything from Naruto now when you will see the battle between Pain and Naruto you can compare them ...
Naruto and sasuke from the childhood are rivals and they will be for the eternity so even if one is stronger than the other the difference between them won't be remarquable!

P:Is that true that shodaime hits madara's left eye so he lost controll on kyuubi ?

MK:These are just predictions .from the chapter ..well let's see .. in the 200s ..i think. When naruto hit sasuke into madara's eye
but i will take this into consideration !

P:Naruto or Yondaime ?

MK:Minato is a legend . but the name of the manga is "next gen" so Naruto must surpass his father ..

P:is itachi showing up again ?

MK:yes, but not as an alive person
like kakashi gaiden i'm thinking of an "itachi Nagori"(memories of itachi) but unfortenetly i don't have the time for it

P: One important question :is kakashi dead?

MK: if I answer this question i'll kill the manga so let the answer for the manga

In a story most of the time better not to know everything. In most cases id you know too much the story is less interesting. Whats he gonna do next orochimaru gaiden, obito gaiden, rin gaiden, konohamaru gaiden?

We don't need a gaiden of every character for ****s sake. Itachi's childhood ismt important otherwise it would have been shown. Personally I think this is a bad idea.

I get that this is for those fans that want to know minuscule things like that though. Naruto is dead anyway personal I think he should just move on to better ideas and not ruin all the mystery to the characters. Especially Itachi since he is the best written character in the series.

It's pretty dead compared to how lively it use to be. When he has to start making gaidens on clearly irrelevant things regarding characters like thier childhoods just to keep the series going then its time to move on.

Yeah i get that but once again its still not as big as it was before. Side note im ain't to sure about those facebook statistics. But my point is that Naruto is not the big thing it use to be. This is just undeniable.

If the franchise wasn't as big as before, then how come the last two movies have made much more than any movie before it? Despite those other movies being produced over the years since 2004?

Funnily enough, Naruto's initial "boom" was in 2004; the anime had gained massive momentum, the first two Ultimate Ninja games had been released, merchandise had appeared and the movie was released. No Naruto movie for years lived up to first one...

The second made millions less, and the third the least of the entire series. The first Shippuden film came and it surfaced back up to the average, followed by four which would make a little less than the first. But it wasn't until RtN in 2012 that interest drastically picked up again; surpassing even the first film. A record of interest which would be twice surpassed by The Last and Boruto: The Movie.
