From the looks of it Boruto was a more successful character out of the two. The story from his prospect was beyond pairings. Sarada's character was always average to me. She never had that charasmatic character a main character should have. In my honest opinion seeing a cry baby as main is very annoying. Sasuke and Naruto easily overshadow her. Boruto on the other hand looks like a exciting prospect. Like someone who is capable of carrying the series on his own.
